Discover the Secrets behind Blue Mountain Coffee
If you’re interested in seeing how the famous Blue Mountain Coffee is grown and produced, then a great option is to take a tour of the plantation at the Craighton Estate. The estate surrounding Craighton Great House was constructed in 1805 by George Craighton and has been linked to many notable figures in Jamaican history, including two Governor Generals.
Craighton Estate is now owned by the Japanese Ueshima Coffee Company who directly manage the estate and export most of the coffee beans to Japan. Ueshima is one of the foremost exporters of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee to Japan, the leading foreign market for the prized product.
